Alicia Boyle studied at the Clapham School of Art for four years before winning a scholarship to Byam Shaw School of Drawing and Painting under Enerst Jackson. She exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1932. She showed with Leicester and Leger Galleries before settling in Dublin in 1971. Her work is in the collections of Bank of Ireland and Irish Arts Council, as well as public galleries in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Derbyshire.
