Description

Brabazon often painted his own versions of pictures by other artists whom he most admired. These are known as ‘Souvenirs’. Most famously these were works by Turner and Velazquez; however he also greatly admired Constable and he painted many versions of Constable’s paintings including Souvenirs of ‘Stoke by Nayland’, ‘Salisbury Cathedral’ and ‘Hampstead Heath.’
